Join us as we kick off this year’s Big Draw Festival in a celebration of older people on Silver Sunday – National Older People’s Day! This year the Big Draw Festival Theme is Come Back to Colour, a love letter to the world around us and celebration of what we all hope will be a return to more vitality, colour, health, care and vibrancy in everyone's lives. As part of the museum’s HOPE for the Future Project, come and spend a peaceful afternoon in our newly opened, historic Westwood Room, creating colourful drawings inspired by our beautiful British Insect Collections, with artist Mini Grey.
The Big Draw Festival is the world’s biggest celebration of drawing and takes place across the globe from 1st - 31st October each year. Silver Sunday is a national day of celebrating older people, taking place on the first Sunday of October every year.
This a free event aimed at older people (55+ years). Spaces are limited, so if you would like to attend, please contact Hayleigh to book your place at email@example.com
