Science Short: Food and Social Networks

Join us online for a digital Science Short – a series of lunchtime interactive talks from early career researchers. This talk will give you a taster of our upcoming exhibition opening on 28 May, Meat The Future. This series of talks will look at the impact of meat consumption and production on our planet and our health. You’ll hear from a range of scientists from the Livestock, Environment and People research group at the University of Oxford.

To kick off the series, we have Elif Naz Çoker, a doctoral researcher in social psychology and health behaviours at the University of Oxford. Elif will show us how our social environments and networks influence our eating behaviours, and how small changes in these can help motivate people to reduce their meat consumption.
