Matt is responsible for managing and preserving the Museum's digital assets. This includes:
- Overseeing a digital asset audit for all parts of the Museum
- Enacting methods for ensuring that access to digital assets is controlled, secure, and that appropriate permissions are in place
- Working to identify appropriate storage solutions for different types of digital assets based on legal or technical requirements
- Working to improve digital preservation awareness and practices in the Museum.
Matt also works alongside the Librarian and Archivist to digitise and catalogue Archive materials, as well as managing collections enquiries from staff and the public.
