Join Steve White and Darren Naish as they discuss the story behind Mesozoic Art II, a grand new compendium of 21st century palaeoart. Palaeoart is under constant change as new discoveries about the ancient world are made and as new artists and techniques contribute to the field. About the speakers

Steve White has worked in the comics industry for 35 years, as editor, writer and artist, and his career has spanned a broad range of titles from children's books to science and fantasy. Steve has been in love with dinosaurs since he was four and drawing them since he could hold a pencil. He now draws them on a full-time basis.

Dr Darren Naish is an author and palaeozoologist affiliated with the University of Southampton. His technical studies involve dinosaurs, the flying pterosaurs and ancient sea reptiles. He has published many books, the most recent including Dinopedia, Ancient Sea Reptiles and Mesozoic Art II. Dr Naish was also chief scientific consultant for the Apple TV / BBC Studios series Prehistoric Planet.
