Super Science Saturday: Our World From Space

A family fun bonanza!

Meet scientists, researchers and nature experts at this fun family science fair. Get involved with playful activities and learn how space science can help us to protect life on earth. Find out how satellite data can help us to map tree cover, monitor wildlife or check on the health of our oceans. Make your own satellite, spot penguin poo from space and find out what happens if you take caterpillars aboard the International Space Station.

Recommended for ages 8+.

Drop-in, no booking required.

Our World From Space is a national STEM programme which brings together 22 museums and science centres nationally to inspire and involve young people and families with UK space science and its relevance for the future health and sustainability of our home planet. It is funded by UK Space Agency in partnership with Natural Environment Research Council (NERC), part of UK Research and Innovation.
