About the event
Discover Middle-earth as you've never seen it before, as drag and cabaret superstars put their own fabulous spin on some of the most beloved characters from Tolkien's epic fantasy world.
Produced by Ham It Up Productions, fronted by London's legendary drag superstars HERR and Me!, You Shall Not Yass is a raucous romp to Mordor and back, packed with all the glitz, glamour, gags and giggles you'd expect from a top-notch drag show.
The evening begins with a chance to grab a drink and get up close to a selection of Lord of the Rings-inspired (and precious!) specimens from the Museum's collections, including some incredibly special slides featuring dragons drawn by Tolkien himself!
You'll then embark on an (un)expected journey up to our Lecture Theatre for a spectacular Lord of the Rings-inspired drag cabaret show.
Middle-earth-inspired attire is highly encouraged, but by no means mandatory!
