Senior Commissioning Editor, Trade Science, Oxford University Press
Latha Menon is a senior commissioning editor at Oxford University Press, with over thirty years experience in publishing science and reference works. Having originated in physics, she indulged her lifelong passion for geology and interest in evolution by completing a doctorate late in life on the Ediacaran biota at the Department of Earth Sciences, Oxford University. She continues to work on Ediacaran fossils with research colleagues in the Museum, Cambridge, and Newfoundland, and is particularly interested in the biogenicity of simple impressions from Ediacaran rocks, and in microbial mats and microbially induced sedimentary structures.
