Role summary
Emily is responsible for the John Phillips collection and is currently repackaging and cataloguing it so that it can be made accessible to the public through Collections Online.
Emily also provides general support in the Museum’s Library and Archive; answering enquiries, assisting tours and exhibitions, and working with interns and volunteers.

CV

Emily studied Ethnobotany at the University of Kent where she was awarded a Masters with Merit, there her research interests focused on economic botany. 
Moving to the heritage sector she trained as an archivist and qualified from Aberystwyth University in 2017 with Distinction. She has worked extensively with physical, digital and hybrid collections and comes to us from her previous post as Senior Archivist for Digital Preservation at the Parliamentary Archives.
