SUMs (Science in University Museums)

SUMs aims are to:

• Demonstrate the tangible contribution university science museums make to science education at all learning stages.
• Demonstrate the role university science museums play in increasing science capital and so improving young people’s life chances.
• Advocate on behalf of university science museums within the cultural and education sector.
• Provide knowledge sharing opportunities between university science museums and other types of organisations.
• Create resources (such as toolkits and case studies) that support science learning in museums and the classroom
