Jewel Beetle Mask
The Buprestidae beetle family, also known as jewel beetles, get their name from their shiny metallic appearance. These eye-catching bugs come in a variety of vibrant colours, and some have striking patterns and markings.
To make this craft, you will need:
- Jewel beetle mask printable template, copied onto thin card
- Elastic or string
- Scissors
- Glue
- Colouring and decorative materials
Instructions:
- Cut out mask and eyeholes
- Colour-in and decorate with shiny and shimmering materials
- Make holes where the two small circles are on the wings
- Attach string or elastic to wear
