Carole Souter is Master of St Cross College, Oxford, a graduate College with nearly 600 students, 70% of whom come from outside the UK. She also Chairs the Conference of Colleges’ Equality and Diversity Forum. Carole is a Trustee of Historic Royal Palaces, the Horniman Museum, Oxford Preservation Trust and the London Emergencies Trust. She is also a Lay Canon of Salisbury Cathedral. Carole is a Fellow of the RSA and the Society of Antiquaries, and an Honorary Fellow of Jesus College, Oxford. She was awarded the CBE in 2011 for services to conservation.
